What’s On My Counter? Drugstore Spring Beauty Products Edition

You can create a pretty solid beauty routine even if you're ballin' on a budget this Spring!

This what my countertop organizer looks like today. These are my everyday items so instead of keeping them shut away in a cabinet, I choose to organize them right on the counter for easy grabbing! This nifty organizer tray was pretty inexpensive on Amazon. There are so many to choose from!
I won't bore you with explaining what every single product is and why I use it, but I wanted to share about just a few of my recent favorites for Spring. The first stop for me is always skincare. Makeup is fun, but skincare is necessary.

While this is not the entire selection in my nighttime routine, these are a few current must-haves that I turn to before I turn in! First and foremost, I use CeraVe for cleansing and moisturizing. It is gentle and packed with amazing ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides and amino acids. I included my morning moisturizer in this photo just to show you how important it is to start your day with a sunscreen on your face. Even if you do not have plans to spend hours outdoors, chances are you'll find yourself outside at some point. Using a moisturizer with SPF like this option from CeraVe is a no-brainer for me.
I've really been enjoying the Neutrogena Hydro Boost hand gel cream. This is a new line and I'm interested in trying some other products from this launch as I've heard it's a pretty close dupe to a high-end brand. It has a cooling effect on my hands and I enjoy using it right before bed.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this Physicians Formula facial oil but I am loving this skin booster! There are a few different options to pick from that cater to different skin needs. This particular oil leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and not oily at all.
Lastly, CoverGirl clean fresh lip oil is a brand new evening lip product for me. Though CoverGirl came out with their clean fresh line quite a while back, this is my first time trying a product. I love this tinted lip oil! I'm impressed with what you get for the price point. At the end of the day, it's CoverGirl so don't expect it to feel like a $20 high-end lip oil, but it's a nice lip treatment that I can see myself repurchasing in various tints.

Moving into my beauty room, I grabbed a few of my recent favorites that could be considered drugstore by the price point but are most easily found at Ulta.
This Colourpop palette is called "Wild Nothing" and it's the perfect neutral color story.  At just $18, you really can create so many beautiful looks from a natural daytime look to full glam. I have been using these shades day after day and love how well they blend and the pigment of the shimmer shades!
I recently took a chance and opted to splurge on the KKW highlight and contour sticks. While a bit pricey, I think they are incredibly creamy, blend like a dream and create a great contour. They are very user-friendly and if you're a bit unsure what to do with cream contour, do a quick YouTube search and you'll be flooded with tutorials.
Another product worth mentioning and possibly shouting from the rooftops is the new Elf Camo Concealer. This product is $6 and does the exact same job as Tarte Shape Tape. Someone convince me otherwise! I've used both and I will never spend so much on concealer again. I use the smallest amount as it is extremely full-coverage. Elf has really stepped up their game!
Lastly, one of my favorite lip products is the Honest tinted lip balm which is only $9. I absolutely love these lip balms! They make my lips feel so soft and moisturized while providing the perfect kiss of color. You can use these alone or as a topper but I find myself using them as a stand alone lip product.
I hope you've found a new to you product that you might want to check out! In fact, l would love to know what some of your favorite products are for Spring. Drop me a comment and share! These are just a few of mine that will not break the bank and truly are worth it.  Stay happy and stay healthy, friends!
